Meeting the state’s surging energy demand and streamlining environmental permitting were among topics discussed this morning by acting Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Ed Potosnak and Board of Public Utilities (BPU) President Christine Guhl-Sadovy, who spoke to stakeholders at NJBIA’s Meet the Decision Makers event in Edison.
Guhl-Sadovy began by underscoring that New Jersey is in fact facing an energy crisis, both from an affordability standpoint and a resource adequacy standpoint.
