The Garden State Energy Storage Program’s Phase 1, Tranche 2 solicitation closed August 7, with the Board targeting an October decision. The tranche is meant to push the state past its 1,000 MW transmission-scale storage milestone on the way to a 2,000 MW-by-2030 goal.
